A name is of a great importance to anyone, at least that is what I believe. When I was young, I doubted to purpose of names and pondered on the fact why people could not be called by numbers. As I grew, I then realised there were about six billion "mortals" on the Earth. Then I understood names were used to identify a person in a community.
Why I was called Shawn my father says was became he disliked long names and pronunciations, as my father was educated in more in Chinese. Then he chanced upon my name in a baby names book. There was not much of a story of any kind.
Why my parents did not call me Princess Consuela or Mentos in pretty obvious. I am not a female or a mint. Well those are my answers to the questions Mrs. Simon posted.
