Seriously, I would just give it back (unless it is New Year, then that is a different thing). I have nothing to do with it anyway...
Yep. My parents need that money more too.

But, if I was forced to accept it, I would either save it, or buy some books. Of course, with New Year money, I see it, and it allegedly goes into the bank...
