I think that names are definitely important as everyone is special and unique and should be different from another person. In my case, I really don't think you will ever find someone else out there named Clarilyn! My parents say that they originally couldn't decide so in the end, my name is just 'Clara' with a 'lyn' at the end, like my sister's name (Joycelyn). I later found out that 'Clara' means 'bright', a bit like 'Clarissa' does.
Why would anyone name a child after a sweet? It doesn't sound very good for the child's teeth, anyway. As for Princess Consuela, it's not appropriate for people to be named like that. Can you imagine "Princess Consuela Tan"? Not good. One problem with names, though, is that sooner or later you will find two people with the same name. Or maybe three. Then when someone talks to you about, let's say, 'Mary', you'll be asking, "Which one?" Gets a bit confusing and tiring after a while, get my point?
