2 in 1 post - Names and Murdered girl

What's in a Name:
According to the book of "1000 Baby Names", my name means victorious, although i do not seem very victorious in life... My parents gave me this name because it matches my surname, which also starts with a "N". To me, a person's name is chosen according to his/her culture and position. An ordinary person would not be called "Princess" as it would sound funny. Calling a person by a brand like Mentos would be even more hilarious. unless it is a name in another language or something like that.

Horribly horrible murder case:
The first thing that comes to my mind knowing that the girl was killed and the stepfather arrested is that the murder has something to do with relationship problems. The man might have a valid reason for murdering the child as he would not murder someone (especially his own step daughter), unless he has gone horribly insane. The case has not been closed yet so maybe it was not him. The police should suspect people related to her as a stranger would also not kill someone he does not know for no reason unless he was paid to kill. My final comment is that Singaporeans should try to have a good relationship with others to avoid trouble.
