The website taught me something but it has many spelling errors, as Charmaine had said.
It has many spelling errors. but i still learned something.
This website is very enriching and is full of information although I find the family tree a bit confusing at first, but the facts soon began to fall into place. Before going to this website, I thought that Zeus had no parents! I could not believe that there were actually three generations before Zeus, that is Cronus, Uranus and Gaea. Although there are many spelling errors, I believe that the content matters more. This website is also awfully weird. There are many, "The webpage cannot be found" all over the page. This website could be further improved by adding more photos as I still do not know what some of the gods look like. Some are just too "out of the world". I wonder how humans can ever spring out of their parent's head.
Actually, I think that although the website has spelling errors, I did learn many interesting facts that will be useful for my Prior Knowledge in comprehension passages (if applicable). I feel that it is confusing as one god/goddess leads to another one, then another, until I get all mixed up! However, the website has listed out the gods and goddess systematically. The information on each god/goddess is quite clear too.
As Ryan has mentioned before, I did not know that Zeus had no parents and siblings. I did not know that Hades and Poseidon were Zeus' brothers, that Hestia was his sister, Hera was his wife and sister and that Cronus was his father. I also did not know that Poseidon had created the horse. I also learned many other facts about the Greek Gods.
Quite fasinating. I learnt alot, but why is Zeus still the god of justice and mercy, the protector of the weak, and the punisher of the wicked when he has so many affairs? also, Zeus, Posiden and Hades being sons of a titan, does that make them and their children titans?
Although there are many spelling errors in the website, I had still learnt a lot of interesting facts. For example, I did not know that Hades and Poseidon were Zeus' brothers and Hestia was Zeus' sister.
I cannot go into the website, it said it was negotiating with the website.
The website is easy to understand and I learnt that Athena was Zeus's favourite child.
Thank you for taking the effort to read and comment. I am glad to see Rafe's comments. It makes you think, does it not? Zeus does not seem to be deserving at all.
Good thinking!
